ynthia Jefferies was raised in Ocean Springs, Mississippi by parents that taught her to work hard and "no matter what, always do what's right".  Wanting to be independent and pay her own way, she worked to finance her college education. At seventeen and a freshman in college, she held a summer job selling Bibles door-to-door. Cynthia stayed at the top of the sales chart winning many awards. By summer’s end she had her car paid off and saved enough money to handle more than four years of college. She earned her B.S. in Business at the University of Southern Mississippi. Accolades and money were not the most important things she gained. Cynthia learned the fundamentals of selling, gained the confidence to know she can sell anything she believes in, and ultimately what it feels like to be a WINNER!

By 1994 I had been a stay at home Mom for ten years.  My husband Scott was our total financial support and our 9 and 7 year old sons needed their Dad home more than his career allowed.  We were all ready for a change.  Scott made a career move and I started one.  Having a successful sales background - and having enjoyed Real Estate courses in college - Real Estate seemed a perfect fit.  At the time, median home prices were $86,000 and earning a living in Real Estate was tough.  But, I was motivated and determined, worked hard, and was always available when my clients needed me.  The early years were difficult but to succeed you must persevere, especially when you are the most discouraged.

I joined RE/MAX in 1996 and worked very hard to establish myself as a knowledgeable Agent.  I found that the sales process does not end - but begins - with the contract.  I handled all the details for my clients so they could enjoy their "real estate" experience and not have any surprises at closing.  Satisfied customers are the foundation of my reputation for superior customer service which attracts repeat clients and referrals.  By 1999 I earned 100% Club status and ranked as one of Alabama's Top 100 RE/MAX Agents. 

Today my business is 95% referral based.  My clients are my friends.  I represent their best interest with honesty and integrity; and they benefit from the knowledge and experience I offer.  I make certain they understand the buying and selling process, know their options, and possible consequences of their decisions.  This helps them "see the big picture" while making decisions that are best for themselves and their families.

I am a one person team and love taking care of all transaction details.  I strive for perfection, but most importantly I care about my clients and they know, above all, that they can trust me to do my very best for them at all times.  I also re-evaluate my priorities regularly so not to lose sight of what I am working for:  God, my Husband and two Sons.  They were my inspiration and focus thirteen years ago, the reason I have been successful, and they will always be the main focus of my life.
